Who we are
Fabulous Foodz Ltd, company no. 16748246, registered at 20 Wenlock Road, London N1 7GU. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, email address and message, when you use the form on our Contact page.
- Newsletter: your email address, country and the page you signed up from, when you subscribe to our newsletter.
- Orders: if you place an order, we collect your name, delivery address, email address, phone number (if given) and order details (products, prices, order history). Payment card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe, our payment processor; we do not see or store your full card number.
Why we collect it, and our lawful basis
- To reply to you when you contact us. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR): responding to an enquiry you’ve sent us.
- To send you occasional emails about new products, if you’ve subscribed to our newsletter. Our lawful basis is consent (Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR): you gave us your email for exactly this purpose, and you can withdraw it at any time by emailing us or using the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email.
Payment
We use Stripe to process payments for orders. When you check out, Stripe collects and processes your payment details (such as your card number) directly; we never see or store your full card details ourselves. Stripe acts as an independent data controller for the payment information it processes; see Stripe’s privacy policy for how it handles your data. Our lawful basis for sharing your order and contact details with Stripe is performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR); we can’t process your payment without it.
Stripe may process data outside the UK under its own safeguards recognised by UK GDPR for international transfers.
Orders and delivery
If you place an order, we use your name, delivery address, email address and phone number (if given) to fulfil it: to process payment, arrange delivery with Royal Mail, and contact you about your order (for example, dispatch or delivery updates). Our lawful basis is performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR).
We keep order records for as long as needed for accounting, tax and consumer-rights purposes (for example, to handle a return or a warranty query), and as required by law.
Where it’s stored
Your details are stored in this website’s database and sent to us by email through our own mail service. We do not pass your details to any third party for marketing purposes.
How long we keep it
Newsletter subscriber entries are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you. Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to help you with your enquiry. Order records are kept for as long as required for accounting, tax and consumer-rights purposes (see “Orders and delivery” above).
Your rights
You can ask to see what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, at any time. Email hello@fabulousfoodz.com.
Cookies
See our Cookies page for details. In short: essential cookies are always on; Google Analytics only runs if you say yes in the cookie banner.
Analytics
If you accept the “Statistics” option in our cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (for example, which pages are popular and how visitors found us). Google acts as our data processor for this. Our lawful basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR); nothing is sent to Google Analytics until you accept, and you can withdraw consent at any time via the “Manage cookies” link in the site footer.
Google Analytics data may be processed on servers outside the UK, including in the United States, under Google’s standard contractual clauses and other safeguards recognised by UK GDPR for international transfers. See Google’s privacy policy for how Google itself handles this data.
We don’t sell your data.
